Homemade Worcestershire Sauce

The homemade Worcestershire recipe uses apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, anchovy paste, and other condiments, which give it a tangy, sweet, and savory flavor that tastes great in all types of foods, especially steak, burgers, and fish dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp anchovy paste
  • 1/2 tbsp tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp mustard powder

Instructions

  • In a saucepan combine all the ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.
  • Simmer the sauce for about 1 minute.
  • Remove from the heat and let the Worcestershire sauce cool completely.
