Filipino Lo Mein Beef Broccoli Recipe

Lo Mein Beef Brocolli is a Chinese dish with wheat flour noodles this is usually stirred with a sauce made from soy sauce and other seasonings and if you’re not a meat lover you can use seafood like (shrimp and squid) as an alternative.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz dried egg noodles  cooked according to package instructions
  • 400 g beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp ginger minced
  • cups Broccoli florets
  • 5 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sherry Cooking Wine
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Cooking Oil

Instructions

  • Mix well the 2½ tbsp. Soy Sauce, Sherry Cooking Wine, and Garlic powder in a bowl.
  • Put the beef and Let it stay for 15 minutes.
  • Add the cornstarch in the bowl with the beef and Mix well.
  • Cook the Egg Noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  • Heat the cooking oil in a pan.
  • Saute the marinated beef and cook for 5 Mins.
  • Add the Broccoli and Cook for about 2 Mins.
  • Add the cooked Egg Noodles, Toss and Cooked for 5 Mins.
  • Combine the Oyster Sauce, Soy Sauce, Sugar, Ginger, Salt, and Pepper in a bowl.
  • Pour the mixture on the noodles with beef and cook for 7 mins.
  • Serve
